Wallpaper-Sized Mars Photos Ready for Your Desktop

We've taken some of the best photos provided by NASA and tweaked the color, adjusted the size, sharpened the image and so forth so you can pick one you look and easily turn them into a background on your computer monitor.

These files are larger than the ones listed on the Mars images page. To try to offset the bandwidth costs of hosting them, you will see a full-page ad come up after you click any of the wallpaper links below. After you have seen the ad you get the photo and any of the others on this page that you want to download for the next two hours. To save to your computer, right click (on a PC) or either click and hold or control click (on a Mac) to get a menu. You may have the option to set it as your background or wallpaper right away. If you don't, choose Save As, Save File, Save to Disk or whatever option sounds most like that in your browser menu, and then use your normal wallpaper or desktop background utility to make it work.
