First Color Image from Spirit
(available as wallpaper)

This is the first color image of Mars taken by the panoramic camera on the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit. At full size (the complete full-resolution image is more than 3,000 pixels wide and tall), it is currently the highest resolution image ever taken on the surface of another planet.
